National VKPP VAWG (Violence Against Women and Girls) Vacancies

We currently have no vacancies open. Please check back soon.

Policing understands that now is the time to radically improve its response to Violence Against Women and Girls (VAWG), and to build trust and confidence. The VKPP is supporting and informing the national policing response to VAWG, directed by National Police Chiefs’ Council lead, DCC Maggie Blythe. A national VAWG delivery framework has been developed to deliver collaborative, positive change in policing. Come and join the VKPP team that will be leading the performance and insight work needed here. Our input and analysis will be crucial in improving our collective understanding what works both strategically and operationally across policing to help make all women and girls safer.

The VKPP have secured Home Office funding to significantly expand our analyst and research team, from practitioners to managers, and we now have a number of exciting opportunities for skilled candidates to join us.

We are seeking committed, passionate people who want to use their experience and skills to make a meaningful difference to the lives of women and girls.

The VKPP are grant funded and the specific VAWG roles are currently available to 31 March 2023, with a possibility of extension.

We can offer a high degree of flexibility in working patterns and seconded positions are also available.  If you are interested in a role and would like to discuss the opportunity to join us, please do not hesitate to contact us by email us vkpp@norfolk.police.uk

VKPP’s Equity, Diversity and Inclusion (EDI) commitment:

VKPP are committed to EDI- please see our EDI commitment on our website:  Equality and Diversity | Vulnerability Knowledge and Practice Programme (vkpp.org.uk)

VKPP are committed to carry out blind recruitment.  Hiring managers also receive regular inputs around EDI.
